Would you like to find yourself a cheap bed frame?  If you’re not the type to be a big spender when it comes to furniture, you might want to look on the Internet and search for a cheap bed frame.  Getting a bed can be an expensive endeavor and although you spend 1/3rd of your life there, sometimes you don’t want to empty 1/3rd of your pocket book on one.

So if you’re looking for a cheap bed frame, I’ve gone and done the research for you, I’ve searched the Internet for a cheap bed frame and I’ve found some that are cheap and also rated very well, which is surprising.  So here is the best of the best of the cheap frames:

1.  Nomad Platform Bed Frame – Solid Hardwood

This is one I found when searching on Amazon, the bed had 18 reviews and 5 stars, so it is a definite winner, especially with a price tag of only $129.  This is a full bed which is simiple in construction. It doesn’t have a headrest or footrest, it is merely supported up off the ground with 4 wooden stands made of hardwood with enough space for a full mattress.

It doesn’t get simpler than that, and considering it’s made of hardwood, I’d say that’s solid enough to last you.  This has a very smooth finish and everything fits together well when you’re assembling it, the quality for the price is amazing. 

The bed is quite a bit higher off the floor than you will expect though from looking at the pictures, but hey, that gives you some storage space underneath the bed, look at it that way.

2.  Solid Wood Platform Bed Frame – Chemical Free Pine, Clean/Unfinished

Here is a very simple bed, it looks like it’s something straight out of the army, made of simple pine, with 4 wooden begs lifting the bed up off of the floor.  It’s very easy to put together and disassemble should you want to move it. 

The only complaint I have is that the slats are laid in without being secure with a nail or screw, but then it seems lots of beds do this these days.  It’s just a solidly constructed bed for the price and when painted, it will look even better.  This bed is only $109 for the twin sized frame.  With 65 reviewers and 4 ½ stars, you can’t go wrong with this.

3.  Solid Oak Wooden Platform Bed Frame – Hand Rubbed Danish Oil Finish

Here’s another simple bed, except this one comes with a Danish oil finish.  It too is a platform bed suspended by 4 wooden posts.  It lacks a headboard and footboard, yet despite that looks sharp once a mattress and bedspread are put over it.

The bed is easy to set up, the finish is quite attractive looking and the price at $179 is a steal for what you get. 

So if you’re looking for a cheap bed frame, those are some to consider picking up.  Do make sure you look around more though, especially if you really want a headboard or footboard.
